Annette Rostel (class of 2017) has been recognized by the National Council of Teachers of English as a Promising Young Writer. Over 200 students from across the country were nominated by their school to compete. 51 students were chosen as outstanding writers.

The Crusader girls soccer team leads the fall standings of the Dairy Farmers of Oregon Academic All-State Top 10. In addition, football placed eighth, girls cross country placed tenth, and boys soccer placed third.

The boys track and field team finished in 8th place in a field of 32 at the OSAA Class 3A Championships, held May 18 and 19 in Monmouth.

The Crusader girls track and field team took first place at the OSAA Class 3A Championships in Monmouth on May 18 and 19, edging out Catlin Gabel. This is the fourth title in as many years for the girls team and their second at the Class 3A level.
