Faith & Service
We believe that every person is the embodiment of the living God. The journey of faith is a personal one, and we hope that you will find St. Mary's School to be a supportive and nurturing environment for you.
The faith and traditions of the Roman Catholic Church are central to St. Mary's, and they are celebrated in a way that welcomes and respects those of other faith backgrounds.
When we gather together to pray, to serve, and to learn---at home or abroad---we do so as one united school community, beloved in the eyes of God.
Each daily Morning Meeting begins with a prayer, led by a student, teacher, or administrator.
We celebrate Mass in our Chapel most Wednesday mornings before school. This liturgy is open to all students and to the public.
Grade-level classes celebrate the Eucharist together throughout the year.
We gather for school-wide prayer services four times a year: at the beginning of the school year, Thanksgiving, Ash Wednesday, and at the end of the year in celebration of outstanding senior service projects.
The Chapel is open for prayer and reflection during Upper School lunch and by request at any time.
